Ideal for use on nearly any metal or alloy, wood, fiberglass, or plastics, these belts can last between 50% and 200% longer than the same belt made with different abrasive grains. Ceramic grains have a fracturing characteristic which continually exposes new sharp edges to provide consistency throughout the useful life of the belt. The grinding-inducing additional layer decreases grinding temperature to protect both the belt and the material being worked out.
